I started Bert’s Hauling and Demolition, a division of TraVek, to provide a service to home owners and small businesses in the valley.  It is very difficult to get hard working individuals that can give people an honest days work, at a fair price. I have always dreamed of running my own business, and now I do - with the help of my family - who have been in the

trades industry for years here in Arizona.

I graduated from Horizon High School in 1998 and have been working in various fields in the trades since then.  I have experience in roofing, painting, small remodeling and demolition.  I come from a family of entrepenuers and now I am working with them, but on my own.

After listening to small business and home owners express the needs they have - I figured this type of work would be right up my alley. I purchased a truck and a trailer and went to work - doing any hauling and demolition jobs that I could get.  I also do roof tear offs to give me my bread and butter. 

Just recently we purchased a Dingo, a small walk behind “tractor”, that is capable of doing many small wonders in the yard.  It is great for digging holes, trenches, breaking and hauling rocks and concrete and it is so compact that it can fit right through people gates.
